Thank you for your support and partnership this year, our Titan school culture is positive, healthy for students, and focused on students demonstrating their best selves and best work academically and socially. Our Thomas staff appreciates you! Titan students are the best! 

As a family this summer, take the time to have family meeting time, and when you do, consider exploring what words like lifelong learning, collaboration, character, and leadership mean to you. When students hear these values discussed at home, it reinforces their importance and supports personal growth, motivation, and achievement. Together, we can help students build strong foundations for life. 

Thomas summer office hours 

• July: The school office is closed 
• August 01 - 31: The school office is open Monday – Friday from 9:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. 
• August 07: The school office is closed for districtwide training. 

Getting ready for school 

The middle school dress code and school supplies list can be found under the family tab on the CPSD website. 

• August 25th: Visit the school and take care of business items. Back to school BBQ from 11:00 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. 
• August 27th: First day of school 9:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. Class periods are 1 – 6. Math, ELA, Social Studies, 

Our character word for July and August is “Appreciation.” Students and adults need the pat on the back and hearing the words of positive acknowledgement. Partner with us to discuss with your child the meaning of this important word and how it aligns with the values you model at home. (“I appreciate you, mom and dad for ………., or maybe it’s a word of thanks. Thank you, son or daughter, for …...….) 

We are thankful for those who are serving in the military at JBLM and around the world.
